Award-winning and internationally recognized designer Karen Lynn Poulos of Karen Lynn Interiors was selected by Trinity Yachts to be the yacht interior designer for hull T60 & T61; two beautiful superyachts specifically built for the Royal Family of Dubai. Karen Lynn has just completed the second of two yachts built by Trinity Yachts in Gulfport, Mississippi. Trinity Yachts commissioned Karen Lynn to design both of the yacht interiors from a blank slate; the T-060 in 2008 and the T-061 in early 2009.
M/Y Reem (above) has a modern design with exceptionally clean lines that reflect the owner’s masculine, unique character and flair. This yacht features a nine-cabin layout. She has a contemporary interior with aniline dyed veneers and seven species of wood finished in various shades of high gloss grey. Accents of inlaid leathers in cabinet fronts, stainless steel/ polished chrome, glass and rich fabrics all compliment this yacht’s modern décor. The interior includes custom designed carpets, as well as hand blown light fixtures in the master suite. Each cabin has its own color scheme with variations of fabrics, leathers and glass tiles, but still remain true to her chic sexy feel. This yacht was delivered in May 2013 and will reside in the Middle East.
M/Y Falcon (above) was the first yacht completed which features elegant interior with luxurious fabrics, opulent textures, and mother of pearl accents. The carpet is custom designed and made in silk and wool with 24k gold threading. The stone work in this interior is a combination of onyx, marble and mother of pearl, which is her theme throughout the vessel. The yacht’s woodwork features five different type of veneers in high gloss and has creative geometric parquetry inlaid in the cabinet and door fronts. This yacht has an eight cabin layout with Master on the Main level, VIP on the upper level with full sea views, and six cabins down below. The yacht was delivered in June 2011 and it is residing in the Middle East.
