The Yacht Harbour Association is delighted to announce that following a recent assessment, Deganwy Quays has retained its prestigious 5 Gold Anchor ranking and it is noteworthy that they have kept their standards high over the last 3 years.

Owned by Quay Marinas Ltd, this is a compact marina set in an old commercial dock which has been redeveloped. With excellent onsite facilities and ambience is attractively low key but with a sense of quality.

Staff are all smartly dressed and, under the management of Jon Roberts all work to a very high level of customer services. This is reflected in the high score achieved in the customer questionnaire and mystery shop which was conducted in conjunction with their assessment.

Jon Roberts, Area Manager, said “Everyone at Quay marinas is delighted that the marina has once again been awarded Five Gold Anchors following the recent TYHA assessment.

This award represents the hard work and consistently high standards of service and facilities that we have always strived to maintain for our berthholders and visitors.”

The Gold Anchor Award Scheme, which has been operating for 23 years is based on the TYHA Code of Practice for the design construction and operation of marinas. Ratings range from one to five gold anchors. Any award issued is a sure sign of a credible, quality marina with the number of anchors demonstrating the facilities and standard of service available to berth holders and full compliance with statutory regulations.
